JINBEI Accelerates Egypt CKD Project

In August 2026, a project team from JINBEI (Shenyang) Automotive Co., Ltd. returned to Cairo for intensive discussions with local partners, the assembly plant and parts suppliers. Installation of the welding, painting and final assembly lines was nearing completion, while trial vehicle assembly, equipment testing and local staff training were advancing in parallel. JINBEI’s operations in Egypt are moving from complete vehicle exports toward local manufacturing and integrated operations. From selling vehicles to building a factory JINBEI moves toward local operations abroad JINBEI has a long relationship with Egypt, one of its earlier KD cooperation markets, where complete vehicle trade established a stable customer base. In October 2025, its first exclusive brand store in Egypt opened in Cairo, combining sales, aftersales and parts services and providing a local base for assembly and brand development. The signing and implementation of the JINBEI CKD project have deepened the partnership. The process plan was signed and the first production equipment shipped in 2025. In August 2026, the JINBEI team and Egyptian partners agreed on production preparation, local sourcing and production pace. Construction has accelerated, with mass production expected by year end. From products to industry JINBEI’s overseas business is changing As one of the earlier companies named a national complete vehicle export base, JINBEI has exported more than 90,000 vehicles to over 80 countries and regions. Facing a new phase of global competition, the company follows a principle of research and development in China, manufacturing globally and serving the world. It is shifting from market entry toward deeper local operations. Egypt is a model for this strategy. On the manufacturing side, the CKD lines introduce JINBEI process standards across welding, painting and final assembly, together with its quality management and supply chain practices. On the supply side, local parts makers are being brought into procurement to strengthen Egypt’s upstream automotive industry. On the service side, the exclusive store and local training bring standards to technicians and aftersales operations. For the brand, KD projects in Egypt and Vietnam support a shift from vehicle trade toward integrated technology, brand and value chain cooperation. From export to local roots Shenyang manufacturing on the Nile Industrial cooperation between China and Egypt requires more than signing ceremonies. JINBEI is bringing more than three decades of commercial vehicle manufacturing and supply chain experience together with local Egyptian resources. It aims to improve its own overseas response while supporting local automotive manufacturing and employment. From factories in Shenyang to assembly lines in Cairo, JINBEI’s international development is extending beyond shipping vehicles abroad. With manufacturing and local operations at its center, it is connecting Chinese and Egyptian automotive production along a shared value chain. JINBEI will continue to use its KD bases in Egypt and Vietnam as foundations for deeper industrial connections with global partners, bringing Shenyang manufacturing to customers worldwide.Source: Shenyang Automotive Group. JINBEI Haise Vehicles Shipped in Bulk to Overseas Market as Global Expansion Advances

On December 19, 2025, a shipment of JINBEI Haise vehicles departed from Dalian Port for an overseas market. The vehicles will mainly serve local urban shuttle and public transport needs. It is another significant overseas order for JINBEI since the brand announced its new international strategy at Brand Day this year, further strengthening its global presence. In recent years, guided by its vision of bringing JINBEI vehicles to the world, the company has steadily expanded abroad. Drawing on its established commercial vehicle manufacturing system and proven product quality, it has continued to deepen international cooperation. Demand for durable, adaptable commercial vehicles remains stable in overseas markets. With their reliable performance and suitability for local needs, JINBEI Haise vehicles are finding more applications and gradually gaining customer recognition. The successful shipment of these fuel powered models is another result of JINBEI’s renewed overseas strategy. Since the start of 2025, JINBEI has delivered fuel powered and new energy vehicles to several overseas markets for applications including urban logistics and public services. This order further broadens the local product offering and reflects continued market recognition of JINBEI’s range of vehicles with different powertrains. While increasing exports of complete vehicles, JINBEI is also accelerating overseas localization. Since September this year, its KD projects in Southeast Asia and Africa have reached successive milestones: the first complete vehicles have rolled off the line at the Vietnam KD plant; equipment has arrived and is being installed on a production line in Africa, with operations planned to begin next year; and JINBEI’s first exclusive brand store in Egypt has opened, establishing an initial local system for display, sales and aftersales service. As production and distribution capabilities take shape, JINBEI expects to improve delivery efficiency and service response in local markets and meet a wider range of vehicle needs. Together, these developments mark a key step in its progression from entering overseas markets to establishing a lasting local presence. As its KD projects advance, JINBEI is strengthening its global product supply and service network and moving overseas partnerships beyond product exports toward shared capabilities. This puts its international development principle, “Manufactured in China, produced globally, and serving the world,” into practice. From complete vehicle exports to local production, JINBEI is steadily upgrading its overseas strategy. Looking ahead, it will continue to uphold its “Quality First” brand ethos, deepen international cooperation and expand globally with reliable, practical and efficient commercial vehicles and solutions, helping Shenyang manufacturing build a lasting presence on the international stage.Source: Shenyang JINBEI Automotive. JINBEI and Toyota Tsusho Sign RMB 200 Million Order, Advancing Global Collaboration in Commercial Vehicle Exports

JINBEI and Toyota Tsusho Sign RMB 200 Million Order, Advancing Global Collaboration in Commercial Vehicle Exports

A strategic cooperation agreement worth RMB 200 million attracted industry attention at the recent JINBEI Brand Day. JINBEI (Shenyang) Automotive Co., Ltd. and Toyota Tsusho formally agreed to deepen their partnership, marking a new phase of global market collaboration after more than three decades of technical cooperation. JINBEI’s cooperation with Toyota dates back to 1989, when it became the first Chinese automaker to partner with Toyota on the Hiace, opening a new chapter in commercial vehicle technical cooperation between China and Japan. Over the past three decades, supported by Toyota’s systems and technology, JINBEI has sold more than two million vehicles and exported products to over 80 countries and regions, becoming an early leader in China’s commercial vehicle exports. Toyota Tsusho is a core Toyota Group company and a globally recognized trading company. It has 85 branches and offices worldwide and 428 group subsidiaries and affiliates. With automotive operations at its core, it exports vehicles and parts to more than 120 countries and has invested in 223 related companies in 86 countries, forming a closely connected global ecosystem with Toyota Motor. Its industry experience enables it to provide services across procurement, sales, logistics and technical support. Its supply chain and integrated service capabilities continue to support its position in global trade. The two companies will cooperate on market channels and related areas, with the first pilot project in Saudi Arabia. As the Gulf region’s most populous country and largest economy, Saudi Arabia had GDP per capita of USD 35,000 in 2024, approximately 20 million vehicles in use and annual vehicle demand of nearly one million units. Under Saudi Vision 2030, expansion in manufacturing, tourism and logistics is creating additional demand for efficient, reliable commercial transport. JINBEI has developed a Grand Haise model for the Saudi market that meets GCC certification requirements. Together with Toyota Tsusho, it has set phased sales targets of 1,000 units in the first year and 5,000 units over three years, with plans to extend the model of cooperation to potential markets such as Central Asia and South America. For JINBEI, the agreement extends beyond the RMB 200 million order. It is a step forward in global channel development and international business models. JINBEI will contribute competitively priced products and local adaptation capabilities, while Toyota Tsusho will provide channel operations, financial support and local services. Together, they aim to establish a long term partnership that shares risks and benefits. This will help JINBEI enter the Saudi market and move from standalone product exports toward an integrated approach combining brand, channels and services. At an industry level, the partnership also illustrates a shift in Chinese manufacturing from scale toward brand strength. By drawing on established global distribution networks, this collaborative approach complements complete vehicle exports and KD/CKD operations, offering another path for Chinese automotive brands to expand internationally.Source: Shenyang JINBEI Automotive.
