Agreement with Tunisian Customer Extends Shenyang JINBEI’s North African Presence

A Tunisian customer delegation recently visited JINBEI (Shenyang) Automotive Co., Ltd. The parties formally signed a complete vehicle purchase contract and discussed a semi knocked down (SKD) assembly project. The agreement marks tangible progress for JINBEI in Tunisia and supports its global expansion.

JINBEI’s Tunisian partner is a leading diversified local enterprise with a significant presence in the automotive sector. It has established vehicle sales and aftersales capabilities and seeks to build an efficient automotive value chain through cooperation with international strategic partners, particularly Chinese companies.

The Tunisian partner attended JINBEI’s overseas business conference in April, expressed strong recognition of its light commercial vehicle achievements and signed a memorandum of cooperation. On this return visit, the parties signed the purchase contract and held detailed discussions on SKD assembly, laying the groundwork for the project’s implementation.

The delegation toured JINBEI’s new factory and praised its manufacturing processes and quality. Members said JINBEI vehicles would meet demand for high quality transport in Tunisia and North Africa and expressed confidence in future cooperation. At the end of the tour, they took a photograph beside the factory’s new vision wall, which bears the words “Bring JINBEI vehicles to the world.” The wall reflects JINBEI’s commitment to bringing Shenyang manufacturing to global markets and the significance of the partnership.

JINBEI will use this cooperation to further apply its approach of combining Chinese manufacturing expertise with local adaptation in Africa. Through complete vehicle exports, KD assembly, technology transfer and supply chain cooperation, it plans to deepen ties with global partners and support regional industrial cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
