First Vehicle Rolls Off the Line at Shenyang JINBEI Vietnam KD Plant

On September 5, the first JINBEI Grand Haise rolled off the line at the KD plant jointly developed by JINBEI (Shenyang) Automotive Co., Ltd. and Vietnam’s Phuong Trang Group. The milestone marks tangible progress in JINBEI’s strategy of combining Chinese manufacturing expertise with local adaptation. Shenyang Vice Mayor Li Gang, Shenyang Automotive Group Chairman Zhang Yue, Shenyang JINBEI General Manager Dai Jun, and 陶曰映, General Manager of Phuong Trang’s Hue Kim Long Motor, attended the ceremony.

The Vietnam KD plant is an important result of efficient cooperation between Chinese and Vietnamese companies. After the project was signed in May this year, the Vietnamese partner promptly placed an initial order worth more than RMB 300 million. Cooperation quickly expanded to cover complete vehicle trade, knock down assembly and new energy innovation.

Phuong Trang Group is a well known Vietnamese company active in passenger transport, logistics and automotive manufacturing. Its partnership with JINBEI reflects urgent local demand for short and medium distance transport capacity and recognition of JINBEI products. The cooperation will also allow JINBEI to use Phuong Trang’s sales network in major Vietnamese cities to expand in Vietnam and reach other Southeast Asian markets.

The first JINBEI Grand Haise rolling off the line at the Vietnam KD plant is an important step in JINBEI’s international strategy and for Shenyang manufacturing abroad. JINBEI will draw on its automotive expertise and manufacturing technology to deepen coordination with global partners and develop an overseas automotive value chain.
